Ukrainian startup DressX became a finalist of the award LVMH Innovation Award 2022. This was announced by the creators of the project in their social networks.
The founders of the project, Daria Shapovalova and Natalia Modenova, launched the DressX digital clothing marketplace in August 2020. A startup is creating a digital wardrobe. The bottom line is that now you can wear clothes fashion brands not only in real life, but also in augmented reality. For example, update your avatar or create content on social networks. So, you save money, because digital clothes are much cheaper, even in the luxury segment, while you have the opportunity to update your wardrobe without harming the planet.
Since 2017, the LVMH Innovation Award has honored creatives who have emerged as top-of-the-line start-ups who are working on the technology of the future in luxury. The winner will be announced at a special ceremony at the VivaTech conference.
This year 21 startups made it to the finals, 48% of which are led by women.
DressX was founded less than 2 years ago and we are proud to share our vision with the biggest players in the industry and are grateful for sharing our version of the future with the world’s leading companies, brands and innovators. In total, the LVMH Innovation Award ceremony will include 6 startups identified in six categories:
- 3D/Virtual Product Experience & Metaverse
- Employee Experience and Corporate Social Responsibility
- Media and brand awareness
- Multi-channel and retail
- Operational and production excellence
- Sustainability
There will also be a special prize. It will be awarded to a startup for work related to data and artificial intelligence. The ceremony will take place on June 16 and will be co-hosted by virtual influencer Livi.
