Last night, Ukrainians were distracted from the horrors of war and could not tear themselves away from the screens, watching the first semi-final of the main song contest in Europe. A participant from Ukraine Kalush Orchestra with the song Stefania, which has already become a symbol of the struggle against the Russian army, according to the result of voting, got into the final of Eurovision-2022.
Ukrainian artists will perform at the grand final in Turin on Saturday, May 14.
One of the brightest appearances on the Eurovision 2022 stage was the appearance of the singer Laura Pausini, who was the host of the show. The star shone in bright pink Valentino outfits, created for her by the creative director of the brand, Pierpaolo Piccioli.
All three dresses are created in the same shade, which the designer also used in his Fall/Winter 2022 Valentino Pink collection.
Pierpaolo told Italian Vogue:
Working with monochrome allowed me to concentrate on technical details: silhouette, cuts, surfaces, textures, volumes. These are dresses that glorify fashion. It is a tribute to the Renaissance and Laura’s hedonistic spirit.
Fashion critics were not so inspired by the images of Laura. Looking at the sketches created by Pierpaolo Piccioli, you can see the author’s idea, Valentino aesthetics and fashion in all its glory. Unfortunately, these images did not work on Laura, serving as a clear example of how not to dress.

The dark-haired actress with the figure of a Greek goddess looked awkward in Valentino clothes, to put it mildly. The dresses simply hid all the charms of the curves of her body, the magnificent bust seemed to simply blur, and the sharp features of the face did not match the light girlish shade of the outfits.
