The grand final of Eurovision 2022 has ended in Turin, which was closely watched by viewers from all over the world.
This year The winner of the song contest was Ukraine, the group Kalush Orchestra! They received the maximum number of points in the vocal competition – 631 points!
Ukraine was the favorite of the bookmakers a few hours before the competition with a record 62%. Sweden and Great Britain were next in the standings, but in the final, Spain got a place in the top three.
Representatives of 25 European countries fought for the victory in the final. In total, vocalists from 40 countries took part in the competition.
Despite the fact that after the statements of the leader of the group Oleg Psyuk about Mariupol and Azovstal, there was tension and the risk of leaving the show, the Ukrainians were able to worthily become the winners of the competition.
For independent Ukraine, this victory was the third in history! As you know, the treasured figurines to our country were already brought by Ruslan in 2004 and Jamal in 2016.
According to the rules of the contest, the winning country will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 on its territory.
Recall that during the final of Eurovision 2022, the representatives of Iceland shouted “Peace to Ukraine!” from the stage.
