So the grand finale of Eurovision 2022 took place in Turin. However, after the end of the competition, unexpected facts began to emerge.

As we know, the winners of the Kalush Orchestra song contest received the maximum 12 points from the jury members of the five participating countries – Moldova, Latvia, Romania, Lithuania and Poland. In general, the group scored a record 631 points!

However, as it turned out Ukraine did not receive 12 points from the jury from Poland. The fact is that in the second semi-final and the final of Eurovision, the scores of the jury of six countries were canceled due to violation of the voting rules. So, they “punished” Azerbaijan, Georgia, Montenegro, Romania, San Marino and Poland. Accordingly, the jury votes of these states were cancelled.

The official website of “Eurovision” reports that during the second semi-final, the jury of the respective countries passed the voting results to third parties and posted photos of the forms on the Web.

The EBU (European Broadcasting Union) takes very seriously any foreseeable attempt to manipulate the vote in the Eurovision Song Contest and has the right to withdraw such votes in accordance with the official voting instructionsregardless of whether such votes can affect the results of the vote, the message says.

Note that during the live broadcast, random points were announced from countries that “cancelled”. This was done in order not to affect the overall result. These scores were independently set by the European Broadcasting Union, which is provided for by the rules of the competition.

As they explain, for example, the public broadcaster of Georgia reported that their jury gave 12 points in the final to the representatives of Ukraine. However, on the air, the highest rating from Georgia was received by Great Britain, and Ukraine – six points.

Therefore, what points the Polish jury really gave Ukraine remains a mystery.

We will remind, immediately after the announcement of the results of the final vote of “Eurovision-2022” there was a scandal. Thus, members of the jury from Ukraine did not give a single point to the representative of Poland. This news outraged the Ukrainian society.

Soon the Ukrainian jury at the song contest justified its scores to the Polish singer. At the same time, the Ukrainians staged a flash mob on the Instagram account of the representative of Poland as a sign of support.
