The car from the collection of Richard Gere went under the hammer for $31,750 (more than 916 million UAH).
As you know, the artist purchased this convertible in 1999 and drove only 50 km on it. According to the auction, Gere was the sole owner of the Jaguar and had never been in an accident with it.
Richard Gere will share all the money from the sale of the car between charitable foundations that help victims of the war in Ukraine – World Central Kitchen and Open Arms Ukraine.
In addition, after the start of a full-scale war, the Hollywood star joined the international humanitarian organization Care Crisis Ukrainian Fund to help Ukrainians.
