Jessica Wright became a first-time mother, adopting a baby boy with her husband William Lee-Kemp on Tuesday.

The TOWIE star, 36, announced her birth on Instagram on Saturday, even a year after marrying a businessman in September 2021.

She shared the good news on her social media page with a beautiful photo of a newborn hand holding her and William’s hands.

Friends of the couple and family were quick to comment to congratulate the star on the baby’s safe arrival.

Jessica revealed she was “completely and totally overwhelmed” after hearing she was expecting a baby.

Posting on Instagram, Jess wrote: “Pregnancy is obviously an attraction, and that’s the best way to describe it! I’m scared, excited, grateful, vulnerable and, to be honest, totally and utterly overwhelmed by the fact that that I don’t even know what to expect.

“I also wanted to admit the following after announcing that I was expecting a child. Break the heart of anyone for whom this was a cause.

“Over the last few years, my world has opened up to the fertility field and all the struggles that can follow.

“Whether it’s close friends or friends of friends etc, I’ve seen the struggle to conceive, the sad loss of babies and everyone that really transitions into your daily life as a woman.

“I am eternally grateful, as I said, for this blessing, and I want to make it clear that we don’t take it for granted and we also send enormous love to any woman or man who didn’t have an easy path. I know there are many of you.”

She added: “I still spend every day hoping that this baby is okay and that we are okay and even if my baby is healthy and living a full life, I promise it will never end!”
