About Fletcher and Depeche Mode

Andy Fletcher is the co-founder and member of the English synthpop band Depeche Mode. Fletcher played bass in a band with Vince Clarke early in his musical career, but later switched to synthesizers in the band Composition of Sound among Clarke and Martin Gore. In 1980, three musicians formed Depeche Mode with Dave Gahan on vocals.

Fletcher has been considered an integral part of modern Depeche Mode, playing certain chords on synthesizers during live performances while Peter Gordino, who replaced Alan Wilder in 1995, plays more complex arrangements. His contribution to Depeche Mode music is limited to suggesting minor song ideas written by Gore and Gahan.

It is worth noting that the musical group Depeche Mode has repeatedly given concerts in Ukraine
