Ukrainian singer Max Barskikh, who recently made an unexpected announcement about his work at the Billboard Music Awards 2022 conference in Las Vegas, dedicated another track to the war in Ukraine and separation from loved ones.
The touching composition “Check me” became the second Ukrainian-language song in the artist’s career. The singer shared an excerpt from the track on his Instagram page.
When I traveled around Ukraine, I saw people: women, men who suffered endlessly from loneliness, from the fact that they could not be together with their loved ones. The song “Check me” was born as a promise of return and love. All Ukraine is waiting for the return of each of us. Because we can make it better,” Barsky presented the composition.
The artist’s new track touched his fans to the core – under the publication of Barsky, dozens of comments appeared from his fans, to whom the lines from the song hit the very heart.
- “So beautiful but very sad”
- “Very dramatic”
- “Song – in the heart!”
- “Beautiful and soulful song”
Earlier, the singer Svetlana Tarabarova and Max Ptashnik recorded a poignant track about love and strength during the war with the symbolic title “Boy my Azovstal!”.
