The first lady of the United States, who recently visited Ukraine to meet with Olena Zelenskaya, posed for the cover of the American edition of Harper’s Bazaar. Jill Biden posed in classic elegant outfits from American brands, thus supporting domestic manufacturers.

The cover of a glossy magazine was published in two copies. One showed Jill in a business blue suit and matching pumps, while the other featured a photo from a walk on South Street. Dr. Biden was dressed in a Ralph Lauren blazer, Jennifer Fisher earrings, shirted jeans and sneakers from her own wardrobe.

In an interview, Jill said that after her husband took over as President of the United States, her interests and activities included fighting the consequences of the pandemic, supporting medical workers who were emotionally and physically burned out during the fight against COVID-19, exhausted teachers who worked remotely, and, of course, Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine.

The first lady of America calls herself an introvert, who is very cool about the rites and rituals of Washington politicians. She preferred to build a career in her home in Delaware when her husband was in the Senate, and now does not intend to give up work.

Jill Biden describes her daily routine like this:

A strict schedule of appointments and teaching, barre workouts that combine ballet, strength training, pilates and yoga, dinner with my husband, exams.

Jill continues to commute twice a week from the White House to Northern Virginia Community College in Alexandria, where she teaches three classes and has been a professor since 2009.

Dr. Biden is active in the work of America’s first lady, meeting with the families of soldiers sent to Europe to support NATO during the war in Ukraine, visiting the Gila River Indian community south of Phoenix, and working tirelessly on programs for education, health care and support for military families, and an initiative on employment opportunities for women.
