Forecasters warn of sudden changes in weather

On the territory of Ukraine on Saturday, June 11, hot weather is expected, but the nights will be cool. The temperature in some places is up to 33 degrees above zero. It will be hottest in the center and in the south of the country. No precipitation is expected in some areas, but thunderstorms will occur in a number of regions. It is reported by “Ukrgidromettsentr”.

The air temperature is predicted to be 2-4 °С above the climatic norm and will be more typical for July indicators.

Precipitation is not expected in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Lugansk, Donetsk regions. In these regions, the air temperature during the day will reach +32 degrees. At night the temperature will drop to 12-15 degrees.

In Kyiv, on this day, the thermometers can rise to +33 degrees. Saturday in the capital will pass without rain, partly cloudy is expected.

Thunderstorms are predicted for the rest of our country. During the day and evening, cumulonimbus clouds will develop in some regions, which will cause localized showers of rain with thunderstorms. In places, even hail and squally winds are possible.

The highest temperature – up to +32 degrees is expected in the center and south of Ukraine. In the western regions, the air will warm up to 26-29 degrees Celsius.

Earlier, weather forecaster Natalya Didenko, with the arrival of the summer heat, recalled the danger of fires.

“Now you need to be very careful with fire, because dry hot weather can instantly contribute, unfortunately, to the rapid spread of fire. We take care of ourselves, we protect our nature, we distance ourselves from savages as much as possible,” – the forecaster noted.

In addition, you need to take care of a hat that will protect from the sun.

Recall that spring in Kyiv has become one of the coldest in recent years. The lowest temperatures were in April. In addition, spring 2022 was among the ten driest on record.
