Is Ilona Gvozdev still “pissed off” by MELOVIN’s orientation? The choreographer made a confession

Ilona Gvozdeva often criticized the performances of MELOVIN and his partner in the project “Dances with the Stars”. Fans of the artist associated this with the homophobic moods of the choreographer. And Melovin, as we know, considers himself a member of the LGBT community – he likes both boys and girls.

Earlier, in an interview, Ilona Gvozdeva called representatives of the LGBT community “mentally unhealthy people.” The dancer also assured that it was unusual for her to see a man as a gay. The star noted that this is solely her opinion.

However, as Gvozdeva admitted in an interview with the Slava Plus program, the full-scale war changed her attitude towards representatives of the LGBT community.

As Gvozdeva explained, their relationship with MELOVIN has not changed. But she takes back her words, which she used to speak about LGBT representatives.

I can’t say that the war changed our (with Melovin – Ed.) relations. But, frankly, I take back my words about “mentally ill people”, about their orientation. I guess I really don’t have the right to express myself like that and it was just my personal opinionsaid the star.

Many gay men showed their courage during the war and stood up for the country at the front or in the rear. This is what influenced the views of Ilona.

Now, when I see that many gay men have come to the defense of our country, this is a great respect. And generally speaking it doesn’t matter what orientation a person is, the main thing is what is in his soul And with what motives does he do it? It seems to me that everyone now needs to be supported, and not express anything, – the choreographer added.
