She was hospitalized in front of her 5-year-old son. In the hospital room, Peta called Maxim over the speakerphone. At that moment the doctor entered. She knew from his face that something was wrong.
He asked if I knew I was pregnant? Because of the excitement, Maxim heard the doctor say that I was pregnant. I had no idea that I was expecting a baby, – Peta shared her experience, barely holding back tears.
COVID took all the strength from the woman. And at the very early stage of pregnancy, she and Maxim Chmerkovsky lost a child.
Not being there with her is crazy. It makes you feel helpless,” Chmerkovsky told American journalists.
In an interview, the dance couple, who have been officially married since 2017, admitted that this was the third miscarriage. Now the couple is working with a team of fertility doctors. Maxim and Peta do not lose hope that their son Shai will soon have a brother.
