The star patriotic hit “Mi from Ukraine” became popular in a few days. How did he do it?

On June 23, the TV channel “Ukraine” together with 17 artists of domestic show business presented a song about the invincibility of our people “Mi from Ukraine”. The video was released on the YouTube channel “Ukraine”. In just two days, the patriotic track scored over 1 million views and ended up trending on YouTube!

The song won the hearts of Ukrainians and continues to be on repeat. Undoubtedly, the track can be called a hit and a symbol of the invincibility of our people!

Leading TV channel “Ukraine” joined the recording of the song

15 top artists took part in the creation of the patriotic hit “Mi from Ukraine”. Warriors of the information front of the channel “Ukraine”, Vladimir Ostapchuk and Alexey Sukhanovalso sang along with our stars.

As Volodymyr Ostapchuk noted, thanks to the song “Mi from Ukraine”, Ukrainians once again showed the world the courage and strength of our people.

Creating this song, I felt the rise, pride and unity. And also the drive from the fact that we are the best nation on the planet. There is a whole whirlpool of emotions in the song: pain, resistance, anger and love, and love always wins. Therefore, the song is my vision of the world: I am Ukrainian, and Ukraine is freedom and love,” the TV presenter said.

Alexey Sukhanov stressed that this is a song of all who are on the side of good. By the way, the track was released on the day of the announcement of the EU decision on the status of a candidate for Ukraine. The moderator also said this.

How a national hit was born: we open the curtain

“Mi from Ukraine” is an initiative of the TV channel “Ukraine”. The song was performed by 17 artists – Olya Polyakova, Mikhail Khoma (DZIDZIO), Natalya Mogilevskaya, Tina Karol, Fagot, Yulia Sanina, MELOVIN, Olya Tsybulskaya, ALEKSEEV, Nastya Kamenskikh, Zlata Ognevich, Alexandra Zaritskaya (soloist of the KAZKA group), Sergey Babkin, Art Muayad Abdelrahim (the winner of the project “Sing everyone!”), as well as TV presenters Vladimir Ostapchuk and Alexei Sukhanov.

The track was created to express support and respect for the invincibility, unity and fighting spirit of our people in this brutal war. All of us as one fight for freedom and the European future of Ukraine.

Yes, this work was not easy, because some artists had to work remotely. I am always in Ukraine, but someone is in Turkey, someone is in the UK, someone is in Spain. With each one, we selected locations, photographed, watched, coordinated. All the artists wound up, found beautiful places. It is worth noting that the film crew and the stars who were in Ukraine during the creation of the video risked their lives. After all, unfortunately, in all areas there is a high threat of rocket attacks or bombing.

The premiere date was not chosen by chance – June 23. On this day, a historic and turning point took place – Ukraine received the status of a candidate for accession to the EU. But now the Ukrainians are fighting the Russian invasion for peace throughout Europe.
