Ten years ago – after a full 27 years of designing a ready-to-wear line – Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana presented their Alta Moda haute couture collection with 73 exquisite looks, from hand-painted silk dresses to rose-studded organza headbands.
The main goal of the designers is to glorify Italian craftsmanship in all its manifestations.
In honor of the tenth anniversary of the launch of the Dolce & Gabbana couture line, Domenico and Stefano staged a dramatic show in Syracuse, Sicily. Celebrities including Mariah Carey, Heidi Klum, Drew Barrymore and Helen Mirren shone in chic looks.
