RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under star Pomara Fifth hits the judging panel

Camillaroi’s drag queen Pomara has arrived at the fifth judging session for RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia, the star revealed that she wanted more information from judges RuPaul, Rhys Nicholson and Michelle Visage before being eliminated.

“I didn’t get a lot of feedback from the judges all the time, I was safe, safe and then out,” he said.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under star Pomara (pictured) took fifth place on the show’s judging panel following her elimination.

He added: “I didn’t really get anything from them. And it was a little disappointing. I would like to know more.

Pomara, who is of Aboriginal and Maori descent, was unfortunately eliminated in the third episode of the season after joining drag queen Beverley Claw for a drag brunch.

The duo, who were willing to work together despite being polar opposites, ranked as the last two.

After being named the best voice acting of her life so far by the other contestants, Pomara unfortunately failed to impress the judges and was told to ‘Sashay Away’.

“It’s a little bittersweet, you know?” He said about removing it. “Filming takes a lot longer than what you see on TV. And we’re all a little tired. And we were tired.

“I was like, I can relax! But I really wanted to share my message of positivity and share what I’ve been through and I hope there are people out there who might be going through the same thing, seeing someone like them on TV and knowing they’re going to be okay. ‘

“I just hope I got that message before I went.”

During the show, RuPaul said that Pomara and Beverly’s drag performance “felt like two people being forced together”.

“I really wanted to share my message of positivity and share what I’ve been through,” Pomara told Daily Mail Australia.

“Do you think I should go? Not.

“Do you think I should go? Not. “But that’s the hand you’re going to get,” she added. “At least I can say that I lost doing my best”

Pomara said that despite losing the competition relatively early on, she is confident she did her best and walked away “with no hard feelings” towards the remaining drag queens.

“Do you think I should go? Not. But this is the hand you will be dealt. I think he should have left some other team. Neither, he continued.

“At least I can say that I failed to do my best and I failed someone who was doing their best.”

For her show, Pomara wore a stunning red dress inspired by and dedicated to her indigenous culture.
