THE Guide Investments made four exchanges in its recommended portfolio for the month of October.

With that, the papers of the Bank of Brazil (BAAS3), Equatorial (EQTL3), Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) and Totvs (TOTS3) to make way for the Itau (ITUB4), ambev (ABEV3), yduqs (YDUQ3) and Weg (WEGE3).

The portfolio ended the month of September in the negative field, with a drop of 0.1%, compared to an increase of 0.5% in the Ibovespa.

Rodrigo Crespi, an analyst who signs the portfolio, points out that, despite the harsher tone of central banks, the good mood of the global market prevailed for most of the month of September.

“Domestically, clearer signs that the Selic should remain at 13.75%, generated euphoria in relation to more interest-sensitive papers, as well as the Petrobraswhich announced strong dividends and benefited from the flow of foreign investment on the stock market”, he says.

In September, the best performing stocks were those of OK (VALE3)while the papers of Minerva (BEEF3) were the ones who were most despised.

Ambev and Itaú

about the entry of ambev in the portfolio, the analyst highlights that the company reported good results in the second quarter of 2022, despite high costs.

In addition, the results were combined with growth in volumes and revenue with expense control, improving the company’s profitability.

For the ItauGuide highlights the bank’s significant improvement in several segments, from credit (its core-job) to insurance, managing to partially offset the subtle increase in its delinquency rate and its write-off level.

“Despite this, we believe that Itaú delivered an improvement in its credit mix, even with more profitable segments in the portfolio, which helped to raise the average rate of return”, says

Yduqs and Weg

About yduqsthe analyst points out that the company is one of the largest Brazilian players in higher education in terms of number of students.

In addition to a vast network of own units, the company’s brands have networks of distance learning centers, present in all states.

Regarding the Weghighlights that the company has shown consistent performance in recent years, with interesting revenue growth combined with the evolution of the return on invested capital, showing itself to be resilient to the effects of the pandemic due to the geographic diversification of its operations and in its product portfolio.
