The performer decided to post on Instagram her samples at the Theater Institute, which lay in her archives for twenty years… In the video, Sedokova, who had previously admitted that her mother’s boyfriend had molested her, reads Pushkin’s verse, plays a short sketch in Ukrainian and ends the performance with a song.
As it turned out, Anna in her youth dreamed of becoming a famous actress and get big roles in films, but a strict selection committee destroyed the dream of 16-year-old Sedokova.
Off-screen, a rough voice, either a woman or a man tells me about pretense and excessivenessthat it needs to be cleaned off. So I was like that then. But I just tried hard. Sometimes it’s really over the top, ”the singer shared.
The teachers appreciated Anna’s performance on the “threes” and sent home:
I remember how all bellowing and self-doubting, completely drenched in the rain, took the documents from the institute. With these documents, I ran to the metro, I had 10 minutes to submit documents to the University of Culture, – Sedokova recalls.

But even then luck did not smile at the future star – having run into the university, she saw only a closed door:
It was written that the acceptance of documents was over. I was left with nothing, – said the artist.
Anna is convinced that the then refusal motivated her to move on and thanks to this she still was able to achieve success on stage.
