‘Magie Musicali’ kicks off on November 14 in Pozzuoli

(ANSA) – NAPLES, 06 NOV – The second edition of the review organized by CFA Accademia Musicale dei Campi Flegrei at Macellum di Pozzuoli (Naples) in collaboration with ATI Macellum kicks off on November 14th at 12 noon. “For this second year of the exhibition – says Enrica Di Martino, artistic director of the exhibition and president of the CFA – we confirm the combination of art and music that was so successful in the previous edition. With the ATI Macellum, which deals with the management of the temple by Serapide Macellum, we have identified this site as the location for the four stages of our review because for an artist performing in these places is a privilege. Music as rebirth, as an opportunity to get back to the heart with the public “.

The Trio electric violin minimal composed by Angelo Riccio (piano), Gianluca Pugliese (drums) and Gianfranco Riccio (violin) inaugurates the festival on Sunday 14 November with an instrumental repertoire taken from new age pop music with pieces by Yruma, Ludovico Einaudi, Riopi and especially by Yann Tiersen.

The Eyael Città di Pozzuoli choir, directed by Enrica Di Martino, offers two concerts: Saturday 27 November and Sunday 18 December.

The repertoire, the organizers underline, “not only evokes the sense of the Gospel with its rhythm and enthusiasm, but contains an even stronger message of sharing and rebirth”. The thirty elements of the choir with the three soloists will introduce the public to some of the most famous songs, arranged in an original way.

A tribute to the figure of the woman is the proposal of the Ave Maria melody trio composed by Enrica Di Martino (soprano), Gianfranco Riccio (violin), Angelo Riccio (piano) who will perform on December 5th. The trio will perform a sacred music program from Vivaldi to Mozart. The concerts are part of the initiatives to enhance the archaeological site put in place by ATI Macellum which guarantees free admission with a guided tour and concert to follow. (HANDLE).
