Adventures between the pages !, 70 marathon events in museums

(ANSA) – ROME, NOV 11 – Animated readings, workshops and many activities to return to experience the museums and discover the pleasure of reading together with the little ones, with over 70 events spread in places of culture. ‘Adventures among the pages-Let’s read at the museum!’ Is back, the great marathon of events dedicated to creative reading for children and teenagers that will animate museums and cultural spaces throughout Italy, from 12 to 14 November 2021. Three days of events back in attendance and a new all-digital appointment with the very popular streaming marathon on the Kid Pass channels which will open the marathon with an afternoon of live readings on its Youtube channel and on its Facebook page, in connection with numerous authors and other guests. There is also something new: albums and tattoos by the Artonauts are up for grabs for small participants.

It will be the very young book blogger Penny, 10 years old, to offer a taste of the wide program of this edition, accompanying us on a virtual tour visible on the Youtube channel.

As in past editions, there will be the most important museums and cultural spaces from north to south, from east to west of Italy, passing through Rovereto with the Mart, Trento with the MUSE Science Museum, Genoa with the National Galleries of Palazzo Spinola and the Museo di Palazzo Reale, Possagno with the Antonio Canova Gypsotheca Museum, Venice with the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Ocean Space, Ca ‘Rezzonico, Fondazione Querini Stampalia, Galleria Giorgio Franchetti at Ca’ d’Oro, M9 – Museo del ‘900 and the Candiani Cultural Center in Mestre, Vicenza with the Palladio Museum Kids, Turin with the GAM, the MAO, the MAUTO, Parma with the Food Museums, Milan with the Duomo Museum, the Archaeological Museum and the Leonardo3 Museum, Florence with the Museum and Florentine Institute of Prehistory ‘Paolo Graziosi’, Prato with the Museum of Planetary Sciences, the Aboca Museum in Sansepolcro, Rome with Explora and the Chiostro del Bramante, Naples with the City of Science and the Gallerie d’Italia, together with the of Vicenza and Milan.

The initiative is promoted by the Kid Pass Culture association and the Kid Pass portal.

Among the guests and participants of the Mielizia streaming marathon with a new digital fairy tale created for the occasion to let children discover the world of bees and honey, in the company of Isotta Pilati – Inchiostromagico, live with the very young book blogger Penny. The Buonconsiglio Castle in Trento will welcome the public with the reading of the new illustrated register In Corso d’Opera – Antonio Canova with the presence of the illustrator Andrea Oberosler and the writer Stella Nosella. Pingu’s English Italia will offer a virtual tour of the Natural History Museum with teacher Aisha and some workshops on prehistoric animals.

And among the events in attendance: at the MART in Rovereto the special workshop ‘Depero in New York’, curated by Annalisa Casagranda. At the National Galleries of Palazzo Spinola in Genoa ‘Hunt for the Myth! to discover the ‘superheroes’ of the past.

In Possagno, at the Gypsotheca Antonio Canova Museum with the author Stella Nosella, you will go into the fantastic world of Canova. Among the proposals in Venice, a visit to Ca ‘Rezzonico with a Pulcinella “in flesh and blood” straight out of the frescoes by Giandomenico Tiepolo and in Mestre at the M9 – Museo del’ 900 we will talk about the beautiful world of colors with the event Reading a colors. Among the many initiatives in Turin, ‘Art in paper’ at Gam where children and young people will build playing cards using different paper supports and transparencies and at Mauto, the automobile museum, there is Travel Diary: the epic adventure of the Beijing-Paris.

Milan joins among other things with the Leonardo3 Museum: Leonardo, tell us a story! and at the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo with ‘Guarda in su’, an interactive reading meeting between works of art and words to solve together the mystery of the disappearance of the Madonnina.

In Rome Explora invites all children and young people to participate in 7 stories to do …, an event between reading and workshops to discover the book 7 Stories for pooping. For those with a stench under the nose…, by Valeria Moretti, published by Didattica Attiva. Naples will be present with Intesa Sanpaolo’s Città della Scienza and Gallerie d’Italia with Facce d’argilla: you will travel through the pages of an original book on Vincenzo Gemito.
