(ANSA) – MILAN, NOVEMBER 20 – The Opera House is preparing to reopen this December after 22 years. In fact, tickets are already on sale for the show ‘Comincium’ by Ale & Franz scheduled from December 22nd to January 9th. Meanwhile, proposals for slogans for the reopening continue to arrive.

The Municipality of Milan and Stage Entertainment have in fact set up a ‘competition’ to ask the public to send a thought, a sentence, a snapshot about the Lirico, a theater with a long history which, designed by Giuseppe Piermarini (the architect of La Scala) was inaugurated in 1779 and hosted great shows such as the world premiere of Gaetano Donizetti’s Elixir of Love in 1832.

To date, about 2,500 proposals have already been sent to the website www.heart-social.com where slogans can be proposed until November 30th.

“The winner – explained the director of the theater, Matteo Forte – will be, within the first ten days of December, a very special commission. A jury of excellence, composed of Ornella Vanoni, Katia Follesa, Dalia Gabershik.
