The stories of 20 ‘antifragile’ entrepreneurs, determined despite the effort of an uphill job, empathic and capable of conceiving “sisterhood”, physical or digital, as a value, are at the center of “#ledonnesidannodeltu”, book by Valentina Picca Bianchi, published by Lab DFG and available from 25 November, International Day against violence against women. Born from a conversation held on whatsapp, the book through the protagonists tells the difficulties experienced by women entrepreneurs of public services during the period of the lockdown but also their tenacity in resisting and the desire to leave again with even greater enthusiasm. In an all-female choral story, which reports the literary transposition of the chat, the author, successful entrepreneur in the catering and banqueting sector, since 2019 President of the Fipe Female Entrepreneurs – the Italian Federation of Public Exercises, outlines the physiognomy of a sector – where welcome and hospitality are essential – which still has courage despite the crisis caused by the pandemic.
