The Taranto Film Festival is back, film contest from 1/12

(ANSA) – BARI, 25 NOV – The kermesse dedicated to cinema is back, which since 2016 has brought together international authors and producers on the stage of the Taranto Film Festival. Films ready from 1 to 5 December next for the edition dedicated to the theme ‘Utopia’, postponed due to the first pandemic wave, which will host the works in competition, workshops, masterclasses and training days. Users will have the opportunity to vote for the films in competition and their evaluation will be added to that of the expert jury, composed of Corrado Azzollini, journalist and producer, the actors Azzurra Martino and Ignazio Oliva, the set designer Gaetano Russo and the director Habib Mestiri. .

“The theme chosen for this edition, to complete the triptych started in 2016 with Identità, continued in 2017/2018 with Metamorfosi, this time will concern Utopia – comments the artistic director Mimmo Mongelli – as already written and developed by the philosopher Valerio Meattini” .
