(ANSA) – SAVONA, 26 NOV – The International Dubbing Festival ‘Voices in the Shadows’ has reached its 22nd edition. After the twentieth anniversary celebrated in 2019 at the Venice Film Festival, and the 2020 edition online in full lockdown, it returns to the city of Savona and to Genoa. It will be dedicated to Ludovica Modugno, actress and voice actress who passed away last October, the official voice of Glenn Close, Cher, Anjelica Huston, among others. The festival “is attentive to the needs and new scenarios of the sector, also in relation to the evolution of technologies and viewing platforms, to the need for usability online, ready to implement the focus on accessibility to audiovisuals – said the director Tiziana Voarino -. Projected towards the international level, we do not neglect the territory: there are over one hundred partner realities and there is no doubt that this is the testimony of a strong and desired promotion of it and of representative realities “.

Satisfaction by the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Culture of Savona, respectively Elisa Di Padova and Nicoletta Negro.

“I am amazed by the quantity of partners that this festival manages to aggregate, the events when constructed and have effective repercussions on the city and on the professions that can arise from this aggregate”, said Di Padova. “It is a project that has been going on for many years, we do not need spot projects but we have to enhance what is already there. The city and its places are involved”, added Negro. All appointments are free, with free admission subject to availability, regulated by the Green Pass and health regulations in force. (HANDLE).
