Argued and swore: stars remember what Alexander Gradsky was like

The famous singer, poet and composer Alexander Gradsky died at the age of 73. On the eve of his death, he was admitted to the clinic when his condition deteriorated significantly.

Until recently, Gradsky devoted himself to work. He was the mentor of the “Voice” project, the 10th season of which is now shown on the Russian “First Channel”.

Colleagues of Alexander Borisovich, who worked on the vocal project, expressed their condolences to the composer’s family. The report notes that the latest works by Gradskiy, created jointly with the participants of the “Voice”, will only go on the air.

Dima Bilan

Singer Dima Bilan, along with Gradsky was a coach in the “Voice”. He was one of the first to publish a post on the social network in which he spoke about the musician, noting that Alexander Borisovich was a wise and talented person.

… For so many years, they were always like father and son, and sometimes they swore and made peace, they all sat together in the same dressing room, argued, laughed, he told us a lot of interesting things from his busy life, – Bilan shared his memories.

Leonid Agutin

Another Golos mentor, singer and musician Leonid Agutin grieves over the loss. On Instagram, he posted a photo of Gradsky and admitted that he treated the maestro “differently”:

I had a very different attitude to this person – an incredibly talented and eccentric, intelligent and sometimes naive, an old man – a child, our “grandfather”. I, of course, could not imagine that it would happen so suddenly. Nobody could.

Igor Nikolaev

Singer and composer Igor Nikolaev in his post recalled how he and Alexander Gradsky flew somewhere together, drank, laughed.

… And at the same time, I always understood that I was communicating with a subtle, brilliant person, – said Nikolaev.

Singer Valeria was succinct in her Instagram post, writing the following:

What a loss … Blessed memory of Alexander Gradsky.

She published a video with the performance of the artist with the orchestra, filmed many years ago, when Alexander was younger.

Maksim Galkin

Alla Pugacheva’s husband, artist Maxim Galkin, also honored the memory of the composer. He wrote that Gradsky was “unique, talented, uncompromising, categorical.”

A great loss for all who love music. Very sad. How is it, Alexander Borisovich? Too early. You will be greatly missed on the screen and in life, – wrote Galkin.
