Miss Italia: two days of pre-finals in Rome, 175 girls selected from all over Italy

A Roma, after a year’s break, the national pre-finals of Miss Italia. Sunday 28 and Monday 29 November, in a luxurious hotel, the patron Patrizia Mirigliani welcomes 175 girls from all over Italy, in full compliance with anti Covid regulations. The competition restarts after the stop imposed in 2020 by the pandemic: the candidates represent the whole country and are the winners of the selections in the various regions, chosen from a significant number of participants, 12 thousand, announces the competition.
A jury of talent and beauty experts selects 20 finalists for the title of Miss Italy and 10 for the title of Miss Italia Social. The contribution of social media is decisive: likes, views and followers of the girls’ instagram profiles account for 5% on the election of the new Miss Italy and 50% on the election of Miss Italia Social. The remaining quota is assigned by the jury on the basis of various evaluation criteria such as originality, social attitude and personality.

In detail, on the first day the jury meets the girls from Tuscany, Umbria, Abruzzo, Marche, Molise, Lazio, Campania, Basilicata, Puglia, Calabria, Sicily, Sardinia.
Monday is the turn of the misses from Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, Lombardy, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Trentino, Liguria, Emilia Romagna.
The jury includes Ilaria Venturini Fendi, the psychologists Flaminia Bozan and Allegra Cascinari, the director and screenwriter GJ Squarcia, the actress Cristiana Vaccaro and the influencer Giorgia Crivello.
