(ANSA) – ROME, NOVEMBER 28 – “I sincerely thank the Italian public and I am moved by the warm welcome received for the Italian tour of ‘Maria Callas letters and Memories'”.
So Monica Bellucci thanks the audience for the welcome that welcomed the Italian tour of the show Maria Callas – Letters and memories directed by Tom Volf.
After the presentation at the Spoleto Festival where it had been acclaimed by critics, and after having filled the theaters of Paris, Athens and Lisbon, the show finally reached the Italian public who crowded the 4 stages of the tour: the Manzoni Theater in Milan ( 21 Nov), the Sala Sinopoli of the Auditorium in Rome (23 Nov), the Goldoni Theater in Venice (26 and 27 Nov, both sold out).
Over 3000 spectators applauded the performance of the actress who for the first time in her career tackles the stage and the audience alone on stage.
The tour will continue abroad: the next scheduled dates are those of 14 and 15 December in Istanbul and 20 December in London.
Monica Bellucci in the meantime will be a guest at the Torino Film Fest where on November 30 she will receive the Stella della Mole Award and where she will present the film The girl in the fountain by Antongiulio Panizzi which will be released in Italian cinemas on 1-2 December. (HANDLE).
