We said goodbye to Alexander Gradsky in Moscow today; he passed away at the age of 72.
The farewell ceremony for the musician was held at the theater “Gradsky Hall”, where the performer was a leader for 30 years.

Among the guests of the ceremony were relatives and friends of Gradsky, as well as colleagues on the stage and project “Voice”, in which the musician was a creative mentor. One of the first to say goodbye to the meter came the singer Pelageya, followed by Leonid Agutin, Grigory Leps and the general producer “The first” Konstantin Ernst.

In addition, the former wife of the composer Olga Fartysheva came to the funeral, accompanied by their common children with Gradsky: 35-year-old Maria and 40-year-old Daniel. Next came the musician’s widow Marina Kotashenko, with whom Gradsky signed a month before his funeral. Kotashenko entered the building through a separate entrance and took a seat in the first row in the farewell hall. During the entire ceremony, the musician’s widow and adult children from his marriage to Olga Fartasheva tried to keep their distance and did not communicate with each other.

His eldest son Daniel made a farewell speech at the composer’s tomb.
This theater belongs to the city, and in our country there is such a tendency: we really love to receive. But Alexander Borisovich was still very fond of giving. He always said: “Tribute, you give more, and you will get ten times more”… He lived this place. We do not know what will happen next, apparently, some decision has already been made, – said Gradsky Jr.

The family decided to bury the artist at the Vagankovsky cemetery. However, many were very confused by the artist’s burial place – right next to Gradsky’s grave there is a brick cemetery wall, which is currently in disrepair.
