Maxxi-Fremantle, agreement to promote Italian creativity

(ANSA) – ROME, 01 DEC – Agreement between the production company Fremantle, an international leader in the design, production and distribution of entertainment programs, TV series and auteur films, and MAXXI National Museum of 21st Century Arts. The goal is the creation of a series of masterclasses shot in the spectacular spaces designed by Zaha Hadid, which feature five masters of Italian arts and culture in the world: the award-winning photographer Letizia Battaglia; the pioneer and master of sustainable architecture Mario Cucinella; the multifaceted architect and designer Piero Lissoni; the Oscar-winning composer Nicola Piovani; the master of Arte Povera Michelangelo Pistoletto. The five episodes of the series will allow viewers to discover the secrets of the trade and the creative process that accompanies the creation of the work, thanks to the first-person story of the artists. An intimate and, at the same time, formative story: the beginnings, the family, the meetings, the study, the work, the success. Fragments of memory, unpublished anecdotes, episodes and personal memories that make up a single story, of the artist and of the person. A special opportunity to immerse yourself in the words and experiences of these masters who, thanks to the co-production Fremantle and MAXXI, meet an even wider national and international public, helping to enhance Italian art in the world.
