Coletta, begins a month of culture and solidarity for Rai1

Rai1 director Stefano Coletta looks to the future of the network, while claiming “the excellent ratings” found in the guarantee that has just ended and is preparing to launch “another important month for Rai1 in which we have focused a lot on culture and solidarity”. “We closed the 2021 guarantee with excellent results – he says in an interview with ANSA -. Growth over the year is over 1 average share point in prime time and 0.7% throughout the day. In the autumn season alone. we are at an average share growth of 1.7% compared to the same period of the previous year in prime time and of 0.8% for the whole day “.

“The figure that leaps to the eye – he continues – is that while the share of the traditional oversixty audience has dropped, the one placed between the ages of 15-24 has risen with an average share of + 1.7% compared to the past”. Results, however, below expectations for Alessandro Cattelan’s Da Grande. “I think one of our missions is to propose new languages ​​and faces – he underlines -. Cattelan has an undoubted talent in entertainment, we wanted to propose a different language. The projects would need more scope to adjust the game”. “Here the same games have been insisting for too long, and they continue to have great success. Precisely for this reason we have thought about new solutions”. An eventful month is now opening. On 5 December a fiction about Carla Fracci with Alessandra Mastronardi will be broadcast, while on 7 December there will be the inauguration of La Scala with Macbeth. The film version of Puccini Gianni Schicchi’s opera directed by Damiano Michieletto is still lyric on December 27th. Great space then for the disclosure of Alberto Angela, who will debut on Christmas evening with Tonight in Naples and then kick off the seriality of Meraviglie on Tuesday evening. Also from Naples will start an operation curated by Marisa Laurito who will dedicate two second evenings to Sergio Bruni and Enrico Caruso. And again: a pop evening on the Mina-Celentano duo.
