Cartoons on the Bay, the festival with three souls, starts

(ANSA) – ROME, 02 DEC – Digital, Live and Hybrid: Cartoons on The Bay, the Festival of cross-media animation and children’s TV promoted by Rai and organized by Rai Com in collaboration with RaiPlay, triples its soul and prepares for a week (from tomorrow to December 8) full of content with almost 300 works and 40 countries represented and various previews and unpublished works. The artistic director Roberto Genovesi tells it to ANSA. “We will celebrate the wonderful 30 years of Nathan Never, hero of the Bonelli stable – he explains – but we will also celebrate the great Franco Battiato and the 100th anniversary of the birth of the master Lele Luzzati also thanks to the series The days of Advent that we have just made available on RaiPlay” .

Regarding the location of the Genovesi event, he says: “We are forced to repeat the 2020 digital experiment – he underlines – but it is a constraint up to a certain point because last year’s numbers were really flattering and we were delighted to have expanded the audience so much with several thousand daily accesses both nationally and internationally. So we repeated the digital part without regret and we expanded to more platforms: RaiPlay as regards the perspectives and products of Rai Ragazzi, the Channel section of the our Cartoons site with all the masterclasses and interviews and for the first time a private player like MyMovies.it that already deals with big festivals like the one in Venice. There we will have all the works and feature films in competition and therefore you will be able to see dozens and dozens of films, always with limited numbers, with the virtual room “.

Do not miss the retrospective on RaiPlay of Fusako Yusaki, master of the art of animation step one in plasticine and whose television works have made four generations of small Italian spectators grow through Rai broadcasts. (HANDLE).
