It is interesting that the singer managed to get rich back in the USSR. Yevgeny Dodolev, a friend of Gradsky, told about this to kp.ru journalists.

Gradsky arranged left-wing concerts in the Soviet years, from which income he put in his pocket, so everyone did. He made his first capital on his records. He monitored that there were no pirated copies, that the release of the records was under his personal control, and even he himself was engaged in distribution – he sold himself, – said a friend of the singer.

Since 1975, he has been one of the three highest paid artists in the USSR.

It is known that from the property the singer had several apartments in Moscow, a country house, dozens of land plots. In addition, Gradsky had bank accounts and five luxury cars: Lexus RX 450, Lincoln Town Car, Chevrolet Lumina, Toyota 4Runner and Mercedes-Benz.

Recall that the cause of Gradsky’s death was a cerebral infarction. In addition, in September, the composer fell ill with COVID-19, and this led to a deterioration in his health. He also complained of pain in his legs and did not move much.
