Bologna remembers Tondelli with an ‘author’s walk’

(ANSA) – BOLOGNA, 09 DEC – An author’s walk will cross the historic center of Bologna on Saturday 11 December, touching some places dear to the writer Pier Vittorio Tondelli, accompanied by the reading of passages from ‘Other libertines’ and ‘Separate rooms’ . It is the first of two events scheduled by the Library Sector of the Municipality of Bologna, together with Psicoatleti Asd and the Bottega Finzioni Foundation, in memory of ‘Pvt, Pier Vittorio Tondelli. Between words, places and galactic fauna ‘: cult writer of the new Italian generation of the Eighties, editorial curator, essayist, journalist and playwright, died of AIDS on December 16, 1991, at the age of 36. Leading the walk, from 3 pm, will be Enrico Brizzi and Psicoatleti, the association he founded to rediscover the great journeys on foot. With them, special guest, Bebo from Lo Stato Sociale. The walk will end in the covered square of the Salaborsa Library, with the readings taken from his works.
On Wednesday 15 December, at 6 pm, again in Salaborsa, a meeting will be held promoted by Bottega Finzioni “to celebrate the cosmopolitan intellectual who was able to tell his times in a lucid and peremptory way, sculpting characters, situations and atmospheres”. The story of the salient moments of his life will be entrusted to the memories of people close to him in the Bolognese period: from Roberto Grandi, professor at Dams in the years in which Tondelli was attending that degree course, to the theater director Andrea Adriatico, from Maurizio Marinelli, with to whom the writer founded the Baskerville publishing house, to the hair stylist Marco Zanardi ‘Orea Malià’, to Piergiorgio Paterlini, a close friend of the writer and organizer of the initiative ‘Pier Vittorio Tondelli was not envious’, scheduled for 11 and 12 December in Reggio Emilia and Correggio.
