The famous instrumentalist will be joined, in the only Italian appointment of a tour that will take him around Germany and the United States, by the instrumental group Il Pomo d’Oro. “The history of music has always considered the mandolin as an amateur instrument – explains Avi Avital – Only a few classical pieces were written by the most famous composers: Vivaldi, Scarlatti, Mozart, Beethoven for example wrote for mandolin, but compared to other works these pieces constitute a minority, in terms of quantity and importance in their production.
