(ANSA) – NAPLES, 12 DEC – Two female dance proposals at the Campania Teatro Festival, on the role of women in our society and as an archetype: Your body is a battleground is the choreography by Adriano Bolognino on stage for the bill directed by Ruggero Cappuccio and financed by the Campania Region, on 13 December at 6 pm at the Sannazaro Theater. The reference is to the positive / negative image of the artist Barbara Kruger, created and disseminated for the women’s march in Washington in 1989, in favor of women’s freedom of self-determination over their own bodies and abortion in the USA. Dance Rosaria Di Maro, artistic collaborator Andrea Bolognino. Elettra, a creation by Nyko Piscopo, is instead the choreography that investigates the symbolic figure of a woman subjected to the force of destiny. Videocreations by Andrea De Simone, costumes by Pina Raiano, interpreters Eleonora Greco, Valentina Schisa, Elisabetta Violante. The show is a Med Focus Dance Project curated by Sistema Med Musica E Danza, Agis Campania Regional Union. A third appointment of the Festival is scheduled for 13 December at CInema Academy Astra with the docufilm ‘Autobus 2875’ with Vinicio Marchioni, directed by Nadia Baldi (9 pm). On December 1, 1955, in Montgomery, Alabama, a 42-year-old African-American named Rosa Parks refused to get up from her seat on bus number 2857 to hand it over to a white woman.
That day began the fall of racial segregation in the United States. The docufilm goes through the events and makes a cruel but poetic analysis that reaches today.
