Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai summoned for questioning due to offshore

According to the investigation, in 2005 the Bachchan family opened an offshore company Amic Partners Limited, located in the British Virgin Islands. Subsequently, Aishwarya was allegedly elected as one of the company’s shareholders. However, already in 2008, the process of liquidation of the company began.

Earlier, Aishwarya Rai’s media communications advisor, Archana Sadanand, said that any information about the activities of companies registered by the Bachchan that the investigators received was “false and incorrect.”
