Work and not only: what events of 2021 drove Ukrainians into depression

By the end of the year, it is customary to sum up the results. Sometimes mentally, sometimes according to the lists we have made, we try to understand what they managed to do, and what remained far abroad implementation in life… Together with the research company Gradus Research, we conducted a survey using the method of self-filling questionnaires in a mobile application in order to understand what are the events of 2021 residents of Ukraine most often influenced their psychological state.

Ukrainians called the most significant change that entailed an impact on mental health job change… So, according to Gradus Research, this feature was noted by 19.2% of men and 15% of women.

Experienced the most emotional stress from a job change people aged 22 to 34 years (22%).

The second important factor that affected the mental state of Ukrainians was relationship… Breakup with a partner or loneliness, as a factor, was noted by 13.4% of respondents. Interestingly, the largest percentage among the respondents also turned out to be millennials (from 22 to 34 years old (19%).

It is noteworthy that half of the respondents find it difficult to name the exact reasonwhich changed their mental balance the most. Especially it concerns people in the 45-54 age group (62,8%).

Representatives generation Z (18-24 years old) noted that their mental health was severely affected change of housing or moving to another city (15,2%).
