(ANSA) – PARMA, 03 JAN – After the preview last December dedicated to the Reinach Theater, bombed in 1944 and never rebuilt, the Teatro Regio di Parma inaugurates its opera season on January 12, on the usual Saint Eve Ilario, with Carmen, the opéra-comique in four acts by Georges Bizet (repeats on 14, 15, 16, 21 and 23 January). Absent for 19 years, the Parisian composer’s masterpiece returns to the Regio in a new staging directed by Silvia Paoli and directed by Jordi Bernàcer on the podium of the “Arturo Toscanini” Orchestra. The four main roles will be supported by Martina Belli (Carmen), Arturo Chacon Cruz (Don José), Marco Caria (Escamillo) and Laura Giordano (Micaëla).
