New York launches its first ‘Hotel Week’

NEW YORK – After the success of ‘Restaurant week’ and ‘Broadway week’, New York is launching its first ‘hotel week’. This is an initiative promoted by ‘NYC & Company’, the agency that deals with the tourism promotion of the Big Apple, which until February 13 provides discounts of 22% on bookings in over 110 hotels in all five municipalities. Among the participating hotels there are some prestigious ones such as The Beekman Hotel, Lotte New York Palace, The Pierre New York, The Langham New York, The William Vale. “In greeting the new year – said Fred Dixon, president and CEO of NYC & Company – our commitment to supporting the city’s hospitality sector remains unchanged. Dixon also added that NYC Hotel Week encourages all visitors and even New Yorkers to enjoy the city safely and spend a few nights in some of the best hotels in the city during a less crowded time of year.
