In his youth, he often parodied the famous American comedian Jerry Lewis. Therefore, Celentano’s sister even sent one of the photos to the doubles competition, where her brother was in the image of this artist – as a result, Adriano took first place and won 100 thousand lire!

At the same time, the young artist began to show an interest in music, including rock and roll, which his mother also adored. And when did he hear in the film “School jungle” famous song by Bill Haley – Rock Around the Clock, then finally fell in love with this genre and decided to create his own group Rock Boys, which included such stars as Luigi Tenco, Enzo Giannacci and Giorgio Gaber.

Then Celentano had a real triumph – music, cinema, TV – he began to show himself as a real star! In 1957 he, together with the Rock Boys, won the main prize at the competition. “First Italian Rock and Roll Festival”… By the way, the group was the only one who sang the author’s song in their native language Ciao ti dirò (from Italian – I’ll tell you ciao), while the other members did covers of American hits.

A year later, Adriano Celentano won the light music festival in Ancona, performing the song Il tuo bacio è come un rock (from Italian – Your kiss is like rock), and later Jolly signed a contract with him and released the first studio album – Adriano Celentano con Giulio Libano e la sua orchestra.

Further, the artist created his own music label Clan Celentano, where he recorded hit records one after another. Celentano also built a career in cinema. So, star debuted in film “Sweet life” – he was in the role of a singer. Subsequently, in his filmography appeared “Super robbery in Milan”, “Seraphim”, “Bluff”, as well as “White, red and …” from Sophia Loren and “The Taming of the Shrew” and “Love struck” with Ornella Muti.

In the early 2000s, Celentano appeared in the series “Inspector Gluck”… Thereafter the artist decided not to act in projects anymorebecause he just got tired of it. Eternal love

Adriano Celentano met his future wife, actress Claudia Mori, when she was 19 years old – on the set of the film “Some weird type” 1963. At first, the woman did not like the man – he was slovenly dressed in a dirty shirt and slippers on his bare feet. Moreover, then Claudia was planning to marry a famous Italian footballer. But fate was different for the actress – Celentano managed to win her heart with charisma and sincerity. A year later, the couple played a secret wedding, after Celentano confessed to the bride in strong feelings from the stage.

The couple have three children – the son of Giacomo and the daughters of Rosita and Rosalind. They all followed in the footsteps of stellar parents – the son became a singer, and daughters became actresses. Note that in 1975 all the children of Celentano and Mori starred in the film “Yuppi-du”.

Interestingly, Rosalind once admitted that in childhood, they missed their father, who was constantly at work.

There was very little dad in our life. He was always busy, thinking first of all about himself. We really missed his attention and love. But artists are extremely selfish beings. In my opinion, they shouldn’t have children at all! But this does not mean at all that I do not love my parents. They were just too young when we were born, passionate about their careers, they were often absent from home, the woman said.

This year Celentano and Mori’s marriage turns 58! During this time, Claudia became a very close person to Adriano. From a movie partner, she turned into her husband’s agent and repeatedly organized high-profile PR campaigns reminiscent of the Italian sex symbol. Note that Mori specially arranged family quarrels in public, a waltz in the middle of the road in honor of the release of a new tape, etc.

Celentano and Muti’s secret romance

Although the actor loves his wife very much and never hinted at a divorce from her, there was a turning point in their life that only the lazy one did not talk about. During filming “The Taming of the Shrew” the cinematic passion between the heroes of Adriano Celentano and Ornella Muti suddenly turned into real feelings. Apparently, Muti was expecting a reciprocal step from Celentano, that is, a divorce. But for Adriano, it was still a simple affair and he had not seen Ornella as a wife. Soon, the actor reconciled with his beloved, who said that accidental infidelity is not yet a reason for divorce.

Only years later, Adriano publicly admitted – he had an affair from Muti. According to him, they simply could not cope with the addiction while playing and became lovers as a result. Ornella herself was offended by her colleague, because they promised to keep this story a secret!

There was everything between us, but at this moment we do not communicate. It’s okay for the actors – love for the duration of the film. On the set, everyone becomes a big friendly family, and then scatters, – said Ornella in an interview.

Subsequently, Ornella, after her “dismissed” Celentano, married again. She became the mother of three children. But she never communicates with Adriano and still holds a grudge against him for declassifying.

What’s wrong with Celentano

The actor has long left behind the turbulence that was in his life. It is known that he lives with his wife in a villa near Milan. After the novel from Muti, Adriano presented Claudia with a fountain, the jets of which washed her own statue. But on the golden wedding, which the couple celebrated in 2014, an inscription appeared on the fountain: “And today we still love each other”.

Now the artist continues to write music. He does not appear in public very often, because he prefers to spend more time with his family.
