Most often, fortune-telling was organized during Svyatki – the period from January 6 to 19. It is this time that is considered saturated with magical rites and fortune-telling. They began to guess on the eve of Christmas and continued until Epiphany. Of course, most of all the girls wondered about love, because they considered this time suitable to find out the name of the groom. There are many methods of fortune telling: on wax, coffee grounds, mirrors, and more.

“Today” we decided to ask several representatives of show business whether they ever wondered during the Svyatki period and whether their wishes came true.

The artist shared with us that for her fortune-telling is more about fun and fun. Still, the girl once tried to guess.

Think, Christmas fortune-telling shouldn’t be taken lightly… My mother and I used to guess: we poured wax into water and examined it. It was also like this: they took three types of outerwear and, with their eyes closed, chose something for themselves – what we chose was supposed to determine our year in financial terms, ”Trincher recalled.

But Anya never wondered about the groombecause he believes that you should not tempt your fate.

I believe that it is better not to tempt fate with questions about personal fate. All the questions about “dreams come true”, in my opinion, lie in the fact that we do not remember and write down what we want and make wishes on the New Year. If you fix them somewhere and re-read them on the next holiday, I think 50% will already be a reality! It is very important to keep track of this. I am sure that when at the end of 2022 I re-read my wishes, I will be amazed that everything will come true, – says the artist.

The singer admitted that one day she decided to tell fortunes about the groom.

I remember that it was a candlestick divination for the groom. They melted the wax and poured it into a container with water, from the floating figures they interpreted the prophecy. Honestly, I don’t remember what the prophecy was, so I can’t say for sure whether it came true, ”the girl explained.

As Grosu added, she makes a wish on New Year’s Eve. According to her, they are always banal with her, so they came true.

Assiya Ahat

The celebrity said that when she was 13, she and her friend used to read fortunes on paper with her friend on Christmas Eve.

Her parents (friends – Ed.) Went somewhere to visit, and so we gathered at her house, locked ourselves in the room and began to guess. We took a piece of newspaper, crumpled it up, put it on such a wide dish, set it on fire and looked at the shadow of the paper on the wall. As we did not twist this dish with this burning paper in different directions, but we could not see at least some outlines in this. But the whole room was in smoke , – the singer recalled.

As Assia Akhata added, then she and her friend decided to open the windows for ventilation, and suddenly they saw two young men walking past the window and waving at them.

Her apartment was on the third floor, so they saw us. It was one of the neighbors from the next entrance, but then we did not recognize them, we quickly closed the window and hid. And only then we remembered that there is such a fortune-telling: “You have to leave the house and ask the first man you meet, and this will be the name of your groom.” There were just two of us, and there were two young men, but we did not ask the names.

The star added that she learned the name of her betrothed many years later, but since then she has never wondered.

KAMALIYA

The singer jokingly said that her fortune-telling is connected with the fact that there is a seer in Ukraine, whose name is also Kamaliya, but they do not know each other.

The most amazing thing in my life is connected with fortune-telling is that there is a seer Kamaliya in Ukraine, and we don’t even know her! – the artist shares with us.

Also, the star remembers how once used to wonder with her friends in the shadows, thanks to which I learned about future daughters!

At one time, at Christmas, we used to guess with friends in the shadows. I clearly saw four figures crossing the bridge: two adults and two children. Before the appearance of my girls, there were only 10 years left. But thanks to these images in fortune-telling, I knew for sure that they would be with me, – said the artist.

The singers said that from the very childhood they are very fond of the magical atmosphere that reigns at Christmas and on Holy Eve. Moreover, they always liked to re-read Nikolai Gogol’s work “The Night Before Christmas” or watch the film “Evenings on a Farm Near Dikanka”. They also encountered fortune-telling in life:

They wondered on the coffee grounds. They made coffee, drank a cup, then turned the cup over on a saucer and waited a couple of minutes. Then they took the cup in hand and fantasized what these figures could mean. There was also a fortune-telling on paper: you need to take a sheet of paper and wrinkle it in your hands. Then put on a plate and set on fire. As a result, a certain figure is also obtained in which a prediction can be seen. We often heard about fortune-telling about the groom, but never wondered, – the artists shared.

The artist admits that in childhood she always wondered about the holidays. Divination was associated with dreams and threads.

I remember they took a needle with a red thread, drew a circle on paper and said “betrothed, show me in which direction I will find my beloved,” and then the needle began to move in a circle. Where the needle will show, in that direction love should meet. I also remember thinking about dreams for the holidays: I put a glass of water under the bed and fell asleep, and by the morning I remembered what I dreamed. But I was always so nervous before thinking about dreams that I could not fall asleep for a long time, and as a result I never dreamed of anything, ”says the singer.

TO-MA

The singer says that the most important thing in making wishes and fortune-telling is the correct wording. She also admits that she believes that a true wish will come true.

There are many different ways, for example, there is a custom of making wishes when creating a reeled doll – we showed this in the new video clip “Anatomy”. When I make a wish – sometimes they come true completely, and sometimes not in full, perhaps the wording is unclear. And you still need to work harder to execute it, you need a drop of luck. It’s like being at the right time and in the right place.

According to TO-MA, as a child, she used to guess at the groom, having heard fortune-telling from her grandmother.

This is how it should be done – go out to the crossroads at night with a mirror and, in theory, you can see the groom in it. I tried it once, but I was without a mirror, and it was not at night. I probably looked very strange from the outside. Although very soon I met the man whom I made a guess in my head. Coincidence or not – we can only guess, – says the singer.
