The artist has recently been seriously ill – Voznesenskaya’s health was crippled by a stroke and meningitis. She could not even come to the funeral of her husband, with whom she had been married for 58 years.

And in mid-December, Anastasia Voznesenskaya was diagnosed with a coronavirus. The official cause of death of the actress was complication after COVID-19.

Today, the star of Soviet cinema is being taken on his last journey. She only survived her beloved husband by 11 months.

Now we will remember her as a wonderful actress, a beauty. But, of course, the main thing is their love with Myakov, – Zolotovitsky said during the speech.

The story of their love was more important than any creative achievements. Together they studied at the Studio School, worked at Sovremennik, moved to the Moscow Art Theater, left the stage when their health began to fail. For the past decade, they have lived in isolation, devoting themselves to caring for each other. Less than a year ago, we saw Andrei Vasilyevich off on his last journey. Now they are together again, – shared from the theater.

According to StarHit, Anastasia Voznesenskaya will be buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery. The coffin with the body of the actress was carried out to applause.

What is known about Anastasia Voznesenskaya

The actress was born in 1943 in Moscow. She studied at the Moscow Art Theater School, where she met her future husband Andrei Myagkov. In 1965, Voznesenskaya began her career at Sovremennik, and later moved to the Moscow Art Theater.

Voznesenskaya made her film debut, playing the radio operator Anya Rodionova in the film “Major Whirlwind”. She also starred in such films – “Garage”, “Station for two”, “Accident – the daughter of a cop.”

Myagkov and Voznesenskaya got married during their sophomore year and have not parted since. Their friends jokingly called them Siamese twins.

The couple never had children in 58 years of marriage. Only after a long time, Myagkov said that the reason for childlessness is the work to which they devoted their whole lives.

By the way, Anastasia Voznesenskaya was next to her husband until the last minute. The actor died on February 18 last year in the arms of his beloved.
