According to the Delfi agency, Arnis Litsitis, a well-known Latvian actor, has died. He was 76 years old.
The difficult news was confirmed by his friend, sports photographer Zigismunds Zalmanis on Facebook:

Arnis Licitis: a short biography
Arnis Licitis is a Latvian theater and film actor. He was born on January 8, 1946 in Riga. He studied at the correspondence department of the theater department of the Latvian State Conservatory, and then began working at the Drama Theatre, the Valmiera Drama Theatre, as well as at the Youth and Riga Russian Theater named after Mikhail Chekhov.
He began acting in films in 1965 and succeeded in this field in several countries at once: Latvia, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus and Lithuania. The peak of his film career falls on the 80s.
Licytis’ career includes more than a hundred roles. You could see the actor in such films and TV shows: “The Musketeers Twenty Years Later”, “Original Russia”, “Prisoner of If Castle”, “Thieves in Law”, “Rich Man, Poor Man”, “It’s Hard to Be God”, “Put Guilty” , “Lost in Siberia”, “Ranetki”.
He was considered almost the only actor of Latvian origin who played in many Soviet and Russian films without dubbing, as he was fluent in Russian.
The actor spent the last years of his life as a pensioner, but if there were job offers and health allowed, he agreed.
As for the personal sphere, despite stormy romances, Arnis Licitis never married and never became a father.
