For several seasons, “grandmother’s” things have been in fashion. It is so popular to use the techniques and secrets of experienced women in creating clothes that even designer Fridon Niguriani assembled things from shreds of fabric according to her grandmother’s technique. Ukrainian students do not lag behind the trends, so they created the Tvorcha Ba brand.

An account of the cutest Ukrainian brand has appeared on Instagram, clothes and things for which are created by women of retirement age. The page sells balaclavas, mittens, shoppers, sweaters, socks and handmade bags. And it not only looks cool, but also saves women from the thankless search for buyers in the cold.

Cool project created by students Kiev National Economic Universityunited in a social-entrepreneurial organization Enactus.

“Not long ago I came out of the subway and wobbled my granny, as if they were at the crossing,” said my girlfriend from the university. I wanted to transfer my work to the online mode, move it around in the cold. Navіt yakscho whole – stink all the same to stand on your feet and sell your vodka. It is physically important for me, a young person. And grandmothers are much more important. We said that it would be great, that the stench would be at home, and we would sell through the Internet. The stench will take a profit, working at home, not spend an hour selling their virobiv on the street, and you can call more virobiv.

– told co-founder of “Creative Ba” Ekaterina Myslitskaya to BURO.

The creative organization shared that it finds grandmothers to work with in three ways: either they see them on the street and offer jobs in the format “go home, knit, and you will earn the same money without having to stand on the street”; or children and grandchildren of creative women call them and recommend them; or the grandmothers themselves write, offering their work.
