Site “Today” conducted a survey among Ukrainian celebrities – it turned out that among them there are those who were looking forward to continuing and have already watched the entire series.

Creators “And just like that…” take into account the so-called standards “new ethics” – the series not only actively discusses the topics of sexual orientation, gender equality, self-identification and tolerance, but one of the heroines is a non-binary person with whom, according to the script, married Miranda falls in love.

Style and spirit “Sex in the city”, as many viewers write in reviews, were lost or simply changed. Time has passed, the world has changed, and with it the main characters.

We talked to the drag queen Monroe, Ukrainian singer Alina Grosu and actress of the series “Shvidka” on UFO TV by Nadezhda Khilskaya about whether they liked the series and what aftertaste it left after watching it.

Monroe

The opinion of viewers around the world is divided: some idolize “And just like that…”, others openly hate him. By the way, we have already told why some people did not like the project. But Monroe believes that the wave of hate and criticism of the series is too exaggerated.

I watched with pleasure, empathized with the heroines and even smiled during some scenes. In general, the characters of the heroines remained the same, perhaps too exaggerated, but this artistic serial fiction in the conditions of American reality! It is foolish to transfer what is happening to the Ukrainian reality, as well as global trends, although it is good that we know about them and even discuss them. But, the story of Carrie and her friends is a different reality, which can only be watched from the screen, says Monroe. “new ethics”- When the lessons of sexual education and tolerance are introduced in Ukraine in secondary schools, then we’ll talk.

Alina Grosu

Singer Alina Grosu considers the series sad, and especially the artist lacked the presence of Samantha, whose role was played by Kim Cattrall.

What I have always liked about “Sex and the city”, so this is a real, strong female friendship. V ” And just like that” it is felt with special force: the heroines support and help each other. The heroines show that you can start from scratch, no matter what. At the same time, remaining beautiful, well-groomed, stylish and filled with energy. Upset, of course, like many, absence of the main “lighters” series – Samantha and that the series soaked in a sad atmosphere. Therefore, I can recommend this series to those who are in the mood to be sad, – says Alina.

Nadezhda Khilskaya

Nadezhda Khilskaya was among those who did not like the innovations in the series.

To be honest, I don’t understand why it was necessary “stuff” its all those unconventional “pieces” – gays, lesbians, non-binary people, a teenage girl who does not feel like a girl. It sounds very harsh for modern mores, although I am absolutely tolerant, and I have friends and acquaintances of different orientations. But, honestly, when it constantly sounds around: “Be tolerant, be tolerant, be tolerant”…. Soon it will be necessary to treat people with a traditional orientation with tolerance, they say, “don’t worry, they have the right to exist too”. It’s too much for me! – the actress is outraged.

Nadezhda also admitted that she was sad to see that the appearance of her beloved heroines had changed so much over the years. On the other hand, Khilskaya understands that aging is an absolutely normal, but irreversible process.

There were also bright moments – for example, I was very emotional and cried when Mr. Big, beloved Carrie, died. It was bitter, and you understand that no one is immune from this. You have been living together for a bunch of years … I will also celebrate 15 years together with my husband this April. And if you think that sooner or later it can end, and end “So”… In general, it is vital, sometimes sad, sometimes beautiful, but they went over it with tolerance, – Nadezhda summed up.

Earlier we wrote that Cynthia Nixon supported “cancellation” Chris Noth in the final episode “And just like that”.

By the way, it’s legal to watch all episodes “And just like that” you can on OLL.TV!
