France, like the European countries, is faced with a resurgence of contamination, in particular with the BA.5 variant. Me Bourguignon had already appealed last Thursday to “citizen responsibility” to deal with it.

She also reiterated her call for a new vaccination booster with the fourth dose for certain categories of the population. “I’m making a call for people who haven’t used it to do it very quickly,” she said, citing people over 60 and immunocompromised people.

Towards a fourth dose for all

Pr. Alain Fischer, president of the council of orientation of the vaccine strategy, called Sunday these people to be made administer their second booster shot. In this regard Me Bourguignon indicated that we “will probably come” to a fourth dose of vaccine for all.
