The actions of Positive (POSI3) soared 15.33% this Thursday (02), closing the trading session at R$ 8.65. Therefore, the assets had the highest increase in Ibovespa (IBOV).
For Vitreo analyst Filipe Fradinho, today’s high is due to two factors. The first was “positive number of Brazilian GDP“, which impacted “in a very good way” in technology companies.
“Another point is that, in addition to the perception of economic recovery, there is less tension in relation to interest rates, as the BC president said yesterday that the cycle of high interest rates is nearing its end, which is also extremely positive for the sector of the company”, he says.
The specialist also comments that, even with the skyrocketing stock today, investing in Positivo is a good way to increase equity.
“Positivo was one of the roles that rose the most in the pandemic and is now a little far from the maximum. I see a possibility of resuming the level, as the investor’s price memory is very high,” he says.
Positive takes off, while IRB skids
the papers of IRB (IRBR3) had the Ibovespa’s biggest drop this Thursday. Shares retreated 3.33% and ended the session at R$2.91.
According to Fradinho, today’s fall can be seen as a mere correction, as the asset rose sharply in the last two trading sessions.
About investing in the stock, the analyst still remains skeptical of the paper and does not recommend buying. “That balance sheet fraud problem has not yet been overcome, and the company needs to show a good restructuring to convince that everything is ok, which has not yet happened”, he concludes.
