Loyder Brasil starts operations with production capacity of 200,000 t/y

THE Loyder Brazilproducer of fertilizers belonging to the Essere Group holding, officially entered into operation on Thursday, 9th.

The mixer’s first industrial unit was inaugurated in Olímpia (SP) at 7 pm, with a production capacity of 200,000 tons per year.

The company works with traditional fertilizers from the NPK complex (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) with additives and should mainly serve the soybean, corn and sugarcane crops in São Paulo. The holding invested approximately R$ 50 million in the new unit, it said in a statement.

According to the group, the fertilizer mixer will be automated and the factory has state-of-the-art equipment. Sackett, the process and systems development industry responsible for designing more than half of the fertilizer plants in the United States, contributed to the construction of the plant.

Another nine Loyder plants should be built by 2030, located in strategic markets for the company, with a total planned investment of R$ 300 million, informs the Essere Group. Together, the plants should have a production capacity of 500 thousand tons of fertilizers per year, making up 1% of the national market in 2030, projects Essere.

“Brazil consumes more than 40 million tons of fertilizers per year and, noting this scenario, Loyder arrives to supply a market that only grows, annually”, said the Operations Director of Essere Group Luciano de Gissi.

Loyder should represent half of the group’s revenues from this year, in the order of R$ 350 million. The Essere Group expects to earn BRL 700 million in 2022, twice as much as last year. The company expects the fertilizer maker to reach revenue of R$ 800 million in 2026.
