The main indices of Wall Street opened higher on Wednesday, boosted by gains in growth stocks and bankswith investors waiting to see what magnitude the Federal Reserve will raise rates at its monetary policy meeting as it tries to contain the inflation.
O dow jones (DJI) advanced 0.68%, at 30,570.50 points, shortly after the opening.
O S&P 500 (SPX) was up 0.76% to 3,764.05 points, while the Nasdaq (US100) gained 1.29% to 10,968.40 points.
