According to Tuesday’s poll, 78% of respondents who identify as Democrats approve of Biden, up from 69% a month ago.

Only 12% of Republicans have approved Biden this week, a level that has been largely flat in recent weeks.

Biden’s overall approval rating had hit the lowest level of his term of 36% in May and has been below 50% since August last year, with Americans suffering from high inflation and an economy still scarred by the crisis. Covid-19.

The Reuters/Ipsos poll is conducted online in English across the country. The most recent poll gathered responses from 1,005 adults, 445 Democrats and 357 Republicans.
