Taiwan thanks US for maintaining security in Strait and region

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan expressed “sincere gratitude” this Saturday to the United States for having taken “concrete actions” to maintain security and peace in the Taiwan Strait and region.

China continues its military activity near Taiwan, albeit on a much smaller scale compared to last week.

Taiwan’s Defense Ministry said on Saturday 13 Chinese air force planes crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait, which acts as an unofficial barrier between the two sides in normal times.
